Research Methods:
We conducted user interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis to gain insights into other health portals and best practices.

The Challenge

Corewell wanted to create a more holistic platform for patients to be able to manage and communicate health related issues and preventative care. A driver was also reducing wait times and calls center backlogs to better help people in a timely manner.

Design Approach

Key deliverables:
- Created personas, wireframes, A/B tests, and user flows for each entry point for each persona's journey though the site.

Design process:
• Ideation: We shared initial brainstorming, sketches, concepts, testing initiatives, and project calendar to key stakeholders for approval.
• Wireframes and Prototypes: Below are examples of the evolution of the portal through wireframes, user flows, concepts and final UI.
• UI Design: An initial color theory exercises were done in order to create the appropriate color scheme, typographic aesthetic, and overall style that was suitable for our patient audience. We used a calming blue and green palette to evoke trust, brand recognition to the existing hospital brand.
• Collaboration: Through out the entire project we collaborated with devs, designers, product managers as well as stakeholders was done weekly to keep everyone moving forward and connected.
